Multiple locations will be treated as a network and if policies are unified throughout the networked locations, a sample percentage of locations will be reviewed and billed for accreditation per number of employees at each location. Network pricing will be determined at the time of application.

Reaccreditation fee every three years is based on the number of full-time employees within the organization at the locations being accredited at the time of reaccreditation. Reaccreditation after three years is evaluated against updated standards. It is not a full survey review upon reaccreditation.

Annual fees are designed to cover access to resources, updates, and the review of the compliance/self-assessment form. Having an initial fee and annual fees provides financial convenience over a larger upfront fee and is normal practice for accreditation bodies.

How long is the accreditation valid for?

The accreditation is valid for 3 years.

Are there any requirements that our business must meet to apply for GHA For Business accreditation?

Yes, to be eligible for accreditation, the organization must offer medical coverage, prescription coverage, behavioral health support, and worker’s compensation (wage replacement and medical benefits to employees injured in the course of employment). If national health coverage and or social benefits are provided by the government, these should be comparable to what is specified above, with the organization subsidizing any benefits not offered by the government. How long does it take to complete the accreditation process?

It depends on the resources dedicated to the accreditation process. Most organizations should be able to comply with the accreditation requirements in 2-3 months.

What type of support is provided to businesses undergoing the accreditation?

Complementary online training on the accreditation elements and process is included in the accreditation pricing to assist your leadership and staff prepare for the accreditation.

Are physical site visits part of the accreditation process?

No, the accreditation is completed entirely online via the submission and review of required documentation and data.

What happens if our business does not achieve the accreditation?

Organizations that do not initially achieve accreditation will have 90 days to achieve compliance with the accreditation elements. GHA will schedule a call with you to address any deficiencies and provide guidance on developing an action plan.
